Your pediatrician Doctor will see your child many times from birth to age 2 and annually from age 2 to age 5 for "well-child visits." After age 5, your pediatrician will likely continue to see your child every year for annual checkups. Your pediatrician is also the first person to call whenever your child is sick. We will always accommodate urgent appointments as best we can, and pride ourselves on being accessible and available to our families outside of face-to-face consultations.

A pediatrician is medical doctor who manages the physical, behavioral, and mental health of children from birth until age 21. A pediatrician is trained to diagnose and treat a broad range of childhood illnesses from minor health problems to serious diseases.  
Pediatricians have graduated from medical school and completed a three-year residency program in pediatrics. A board-certified pediatrician has passed rigorous exams given by the American Board of Pediatrics.  To remain certified, pediatricians have to meet regular continuing education requirements.

Dr Karuna Verma has been a practicing pediatrician for the past 35 years. She  has completed her graduation (MBBS) & post graduation in Pediatrics. thereafter completed her Fellowship in neonatology from College of Physician and Surgeon.

Dr Karuna Verma has started Verma Child Care in 2001 in order to provide a complete outdoor Pediatric facility which is the only one of its kind in our area. Verma Child Care provides all facilities such as immunisation, newborn care and checkup, nebulisation as well as regular and emergency pediatric care. In 2007, Verma Child Care has added a separate play area and waiting area for patients and parents.
